These standards apply for steel frames made out of galvanized thin sheet steel and stainless steel (Basic size: S=1,5mm or S=2,0mm) for rebated and flush door leaves, with standard building measurements according to DIN 18100 or with any desired measurements within the fixed standards for installation in the various wall constructions.
These standards apply for special frames as for example double rebate frames, double leaf elements or frames without rebate (through way frame)
The steel frames must have a furrow for accepting the seal if required by the character of the element (e.g. revolving doors). The DIN opening direction has to be specified.
With adequate reinforcement, door leaves up to 160 kg can be installed in frames conforming to these standards.
