All BOS steel frames are available in stainless steel. BOS uses inox 304 (1.4301) and inox 316ti (1.4571) stainless steel. Stainless steel not only meets modern architectural requirements but is also suitable for use in areas of heavy duty as it has a high level of resistance and is also corrosion resistant.
Stainless steel is usually used to meet high visual demands, special resistance against moisture or where an aggressive environment (e.g. in salt-water baths) is present, and where a high standard of cleanliness is required.
Suitable anchorage, extra pinhinges for heavy doors and 3D constructions are available depending on the areas of use. BOS stainless steel frames are available in 1,5 mm and 2 mm material strength in inox 304 and in 1,5 mm material strength in inox 316ti. For heavy duty areas of use BOS recommends inox 316ti (1.4571) as stainless steel of this quality is acid and brine resistant and up to four times more resistant to chloride (swimming pools) than inox 304. Inox 316ti stainless steel has an especially high resistance to local corrosion.
BOS guarantees a clean and exact processing of the stainless steel material. For the various different areas of use, a choice can be made between the BOS qualities
